So today was once again one of the looong day(had many of those)... but it was kind of interesting. I was dressing up, this morning and well, I had to pick my socks, so I stumbled upon a pair I bought just for the fun of it ( yeap, I know you can identify with this), anyway it was quite the interesting pair they are grey, but the highlight of the socks is the imprint it has at the back..THE IMPRINT OF A CAT" yes, you read right! So I put them off (for the record my friends Nyawira and Cindy have seen these socks first hand). Anyway so, right now as I was finishing off preparing to leave, it hit me: " THESE SOCKS REPRESENT LIFE" Now before you throw a fit read on: You see in life we all have the cat at the back, you know how we look all calm and composed on the front but at the back we have the cat. That habit, person, situation that always seems to recur in our lives, it’s like it has nine lives. You know what I mean, the skeleton in the closet, the one habit you want to break, the person you keep falling in love with even though they don’t treat you right. That is the issue that has nine lives. You try and you can’t get read of it. Well, I was thinking what can be done, I mean how can we get off, and then I realized, I put these socks on; I can as well take them off. Dont you think it’s time you took off that extra luggage, made that important decision, and enjoyed peace. I tell you what, I have learnt that peace is the most important thing in life, it is wholeness nothing missing, nothing broken and that includes your heart, especially your heart. You can make the decision to shed off the baggage because I tell you what, you cannot fly high when you have baggage dropping you down, when that situation keeps popping back up...so take the socks off! Breathe afresh, take some time to think things through and once you get rid of the cat at the back you can walk in perfect peace.
Why is it important? So you can walk better, no one wants stinky socks right? Well if you want to be a better person, and then do it, do it now, don’t procrastinate, call that person, change your plans do what you have to do to get rid of the cat at the back! “But I can’t do it!" “It’s hard" true it may be but make that first step, progress is a process, it may be hard but it is not impossible!
Enough said
See you soon
