THE BIRTH PLACE

No, this is not about where you were born or what but more of what you were born to do, and how you intend to get there. There is one thing that i had written about before but i felt necessary to write on it again and sort of reiterate a few things. I pick up from where i left the last time. This week began awesome for me, and as usual at the beginning of week i try to set a general theme for the week, it helps keeps me focused ( yap, it does, no as in seriously) anyway moving along... so,AS I LISTENED TO Dr. Mike Murdock these words are thus for this week:

“YOUR SELF PORTRAIT DETERMINES WHAT AND WHO YOU PURSUE" in other words the way you see yourself, the strengths and weaknesses you have, or think you have ( or, that you have been told you have) go a long way in determining the kind of people you choose to hang around and the kind of things you choose to pursue to go after your goals.. But you say the title of this blogpost is "the birth place" (am getting there) you ready let’s go on a journey:

1. Pain will birth Goals;

yap i said it again, i love talking about pain? why (no its not because i have had a painful past, cut a brother some slack) but then i have seen my fair share, but remember this: Pain births goals, that is to say that through pain, and what you feel you decide, set up in your mind and say, you know what i want to be like this or i want to do this. That is a goal! I was listening to Bonny Khalalwe when on an interview, he said: " i have seen it all, i have seen it all at 5yrs i watched my mother unable to make ends meet and we would sleep hungry, and now, when i see all the misappropriation of funds i think of all the parents who have to put their children to bed without food" what is that? Out of pain, it placed a desire in him to pursue service and to fight is out and fight for the rights of others. So there we have goals.

2. Goals lead you to a mentor

But you ask who is a mentor, friend’s love you for who you are, but a mentor loves you too much to leave you where you are! You see the greatest gift in life often arrive in flawed containers. That is to say yes we are to love people as they are but we are not to live them there. A mentor will be able to take you and push you to your destiny. May i submit to you that you need a mentor, somebody who can train and equip and whose life you follow and whom you can learn from their mistakes.

It is critical to have a mentor because a mentor decides wisdom, what is wisdom? It is making the right decision even in a wrong situation. You only do that after when you allow yourself to sit and learn under somebody. Why is wisdom important?

3. Wisdom decides relationships

Now don't jump at the aisle ( hold your horses) i mean relationships all types the people you hang around, your friends, Uncommon success will only happen when you have an uncommon relationship, you don't need everybody loving you, you just need the right one loving you. And it brings me to this point:

4. Relationships determine Self-portrait

Its true most of the time, we see ourselves through the eyes of people. What people call you, what they say you are? Call a child stupid enough times they will be that! See you need to be with people that celebrate you not tolerate you. You need people who will speak life into you, you need people who will lift you up and usher you into your destiny. Because you act as you see yourself, this takes me back to where we started:That being said madea simmons says: Its not what people call you, its what you answer to!

"YOUR SELF PORTRAIT DETERMINES WHAT AND WHO YOU PURSUE"

All these things will ultimately determine where you go and where you go and who and what you will pursue,most f the times PAIN IS THE BIRTHPLACE, its where it all begins.. so ask yourself, what am i pursuing? What relationships am i in? You will see a pattern and you will finally see who you are.
